Staying at Mare for a family vacation was a memorable experience. As a professional photographer, I appreciate a good vantage point, and the rooftop terrace with its inviting pool offered us stunning views of the area. My family loved relaxing there after our daily adventures, and it served as a great gathering spot for us. The helpful staff, particularly Tali and Agos, were a delight. They were always available to provide quick assistance and share local tips, ensuring our stay was seamless. Our apartment was spacious and well-appointed, accommodating our family comfortably, though we did find the lack of hanging space for wet beach towels a bit inconvenient. The hotel's location struck a balance, being within walking distance of lively Quinta Avenida and the sandy shores of Playa 72. While the surrounding neighborhood was simple, we felt safe strolling out at night, enjoying nearby cafes and restaurants. The underground garage made arriving and departing a breeze. Mare offered a family-friendly atmosphere with the perks of a hotel stay and was a brilliant base for exploring Playa del Carmen.
